Long Description
Aksela’s Technicias is responsible for repairing machines to customers’ satisfaction in the shop. This person removes, installs, repairs, disassembles, assembles, performs failure analysis of all Aksela equipment including engines, attachments, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, and electronic and computer applications.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
• Conducts machine performance and diagnostic tests, interprets results, and independently determines the extent of necessary repairs.
• Inspects, diagnoses, troubleshoots, services, and repairs customer equipment in field environments.
• References and interprets service manuals, diagnostic software, and parts catalogs to identify malfunctions and verify repair specifications and required parts.
• Verifies warranty coverage for applicable parts and manages the return of core and remanufactured components.
• Performs failure analysis across all systems including engines, electrical, hydraulics, transmissions, power trains, brakes, steering, and electronic/computer applications.
• Utilizes troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and repair machine and attachment issues, adhering to Time Requirement Guidelines (TRG). Escalates unresolved problems to Service Manager for further support.
• Consistently completes repairs accurately and within TRG standards.
• Resolves warranty and service letter issues promptly and efficiently.
• Uses web-based programs to address technical concerns and completes all tasks per established procedures.
• Conducts business professionally, maintaining composure and integrity in high-pressure situations and presenting a professional image.
• Complies with all customer site requirements.
• Orders necessary parts for repairs, evaluates part reusability, and identifies causes of failure.
• Completes service reports, time entries, and other documentation on a laptop, submitting them daily via email.
