Long Description

JOB PURPOSE:

This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with customers and manufacturers to promote loyalty and retention. It also oversees the daily operations of Aksela’s service team, including supervision, staffing, and training, to ensure technicians consistently deliver high-quality service and repair performance. 

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

• Plans, manages, and oversees all service-related activities, continuously improving department efficiency through new techniques and procedures. 
• Serves as the primary customer contact for service matters, including technical issues, diagnostics, repairs, and invoicing; proactively engages customers by reviewing service history, warranties, and support programs. 
• Drives business growth through scheduled customer visits and strategic account management for key clients. 
• Reviews and approves work orders and quotes submitted by technicians and service assistants.  
• Develops measurable goals and accountability systems; leads safety initiatives and training in compliance with company and regulatory standards. 
• Coordinates equipment repair scheduling and field technician dispatching.in
• Provides parts support and ordering for the repairs.
• Manages departmental staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions. 
• Assesses employee skills and secures training to maintain industry knowledge and minimize customer downtime. 
• Monitors profit and loss statements to identify improvement opportunities, control expenses, and maximize profitability.
