Long Description
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving rental revenue, market growth, and customer acquisition within a designated territory or market segment. This role focuses on promoting and renting the company’s products and related services, with a strong emphasis on building new business relationships.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers within the assigned territory or market segment to drive new business opportunities.
- Promote the company’s products and services through strategic relationship-building and consistent customer engagement.
- Conduct outreach via phone, digital communication, and in-person visits to present solutions and generate interest among existing and potential clients.
- Identify and research potential leads and market opportunities to assess their fit and value to the organization.
- Prepare clear, compelling proposals and quotations tailored to customer needs and business objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical service teams to align efforts and ensure seamless execution.
- Analyze market trends and territory performance to prioritize high-value opportunities and optimize time investment.
- Stay informed on product applications, technical developments, competitive activity, and industry trends through ongoing learning and collaboration.
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quotas, profitability goals, and new account acquisition targets.
- Complete required training and professional development within designated timeframes.
- Refer cross-selling opportunities to appropriate internal sales teams and specialists.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conventions, and industry events to expand brand visibility and network with potential clients.
- Use a consultative, relationship-based approach to secure orders and promote long-term customer partnerships.
- Demonstrate products and services to customers, guiding them in selecting solutions that best meet their needs.
