Position Overview

The Sales Manager GCI is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the CAT Machine Group sales organization. This individual manages support functions essential to sales force productivity. These include Key performance indicator optimization and management, planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales job design, sales training, sales program implementation, sales compensation design and administration, and recruiting and selection of sales force talent. The Sales Manager GCI will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the sales organization supported.

 PRIMARY JOB DUTIES*:

•    Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes within the sales organization, ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency in planning efforts and aligning activities with other functions and stakeholders as needed 
•    Supports equitable assignment of sales force quotas and ensures optimal allocation across all sales channels, resources, and key performance indicators 
•    Implements the Nebraska Machinery Company Sales Process throughout the CAT Machine Group 
•    Ensures timely assignment of all sales organization objectives 
•    Identifies opportunities for sales process and methodology improvement, collaborates with the sales team to inspect process quality, address bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement 
•    Monitors accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and intelligence, recommends revisions, and assists in developing new reporting tools 
•    Coordinates training delivery for sales, sales management, and support personnel 
•    Manages the relationship between the dealership and OEM 
•    Partners with Accounting, Finance, and HR to assist with sales incentive compensation administration and clarify policy application when needed 
•    Develops coaching and performance improvement plans to achieve Nebraska Machinery Company objectives and goals
