Position Overview
The Manager of Parts oversees daily operations of the Parts Department, supporting sales staff and managing warehouse activities to ensure efficiency and profitability. This role is responsible for inventory control, purchasing, pricing, merchandising, and customer service, while maintaining compliance with company standards. The manager drives revenue through effective sales of parts and accessories, manages resources to meet financial goals, and fosters strong customer relationships. Success in this role requires strategic planning, operational oversight, and a focus on maximizing departmental performance and customer satisfaction.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES*:
• Hire, train, develop, and manage a high-performing team through effective delegation, coaching, performance reviews, and disciplinary procedures.
• Monitor financial performance of the Parts Department using daily reports and management accounts to ensure profitability.
• Analyze sales margins across product lines to maximize high-margin opportunities and improve low-margin performance.
• Develop and maintain efficient processes to ensure customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
• Control expenses by reviewing sales, profit reports, and other business metrics regularly.
• Grow the customer base while strengthening relationships with existing accounts.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand without incurring excess cost or obsolescence risk.
• Support balanced inventory for service and retail customers; negotiate with vendors for best pricing and discounts.
• Provide ongoing training and coaching to ensure team competency, satisfaction, and cost-effective development.
• Oversee warehouse operations through collaboration with the Warehouse Lead to meet company objectives.
• Minimize service delays by reducing parts-related downtime and technician inefficiencies.
• Promote ethical standards and customer-focused practices aligned with company values.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
