Position Overview

NMC Cat is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee inventory, order selection, shipping, receiving, storing and other general warehouse activities. Previous warehouse experience is required for this position.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES*:

• Reviews order board, work orders and pick tags to be pulled and distributed. Pulls and sorts items. Prepares items for pick up or shipment. Contacts customers, technicians or other branches in regards to order status. Contacts shipping vendors to arrange pick up, as needed. Completes and files appropriate paperwork.
• Collaborates with the Manager of Parts in order to plan, manage and control all warehouse activities associated with receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods, shipment loading & transfers and all related data entry.
• Supervises employees within department including but not limited to training and developing employees, delegating work assignments, assisting with performance appraisals, coaching and counseling employees, and assisting with administering disciplinary procedures.
• Directs general oversight of warehouse conditions with particular attention paid to cleanliness, product storage, safety concerns, product damage prevention, and internal security concerns.  
• Ensures all items warehoused/shipped meet quality standards defined within GFSI/ISO/GMP standards in accordance with standard operating procedures
