Position Overview
The eCommerce & Programs Manager is responsible for growing NMC's digital commerce business and managing manufacturer merchandising programs. This role drives online sales growth, customer engagement, and digital platform adoption while ensuring manufacturer programs are administered accurately, compliantly, and profitably. The position partners closely with Product Support Sales, Marketing, Parts Operations, Service Operations, IT, Finance, and manufacturer teams to improve customer experience, business performance, and revenue growth.
Primary Job Duties
- Develop and execute eCommerce strategies that increase online sales, customer engagement, and digital adoption.
- Manage and optimize online sales platforms, including functionality, user experience, content, pricing, promotions, and order processes.
- Analyze customer behavior, market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify growth and efficiency opportunities.
- Monitor platform performance metrics such as traffic, conversions, customer adoption, and return on investment.
- Manage manufacturer merchandising programs, rebates, promotions, discounts, and special offers.
- Interpret program requirements, communicate opportunities, and ensure accurate submission, tracking, reconciliation, and auditing of program claims.
- Maintain program documentation, records, and controls to ensure compliance and maximize reimbursements.
- Coordinate rebate payments and reporting with manufacturers, Accounting, and Finance.
- Partner with Marketing to develop campaigns that increase website traffic, customer engagement, and online sales.
- Lead customer onboarding, training, and support for digital platforms and online ordering tools.
- Train internal teams, sales representatives, and customers on eCommerce platforms, processes, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Marketing, IT, Parts Operations, Service Operations, Finance, and manufacturer teams to improve efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Identify and implement process improvements, digital tools, and merchandising opportunities that enhance customer experience and increase revenue.
- Support inventory planning, seasonal promotions, payment processing standards, and customer communications.
- Travel as required to support business objectives and customer needs.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
