Position Overview

This position is responsible for the general maintenance, tracking, and organization of RAKA–The Cat Rental Store equipment and attachments within the yard. Responsibilities also include shipping and receiving, equipment assembly, inventory control, fleet identification, and maintaining the used equipment website.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: 
•    Coordinates and tracks all shipping and receiving of equipment within the yard 
•    Loads and unloads machines, prepares necessary paperwork, and performs inspections on all incoming and outgoing equipment 
•    Documents any issues found during pre- and post-inspections and communicates problems to appropriate personnel 
•    Scans equipment and uploads photos to the website 
•    Assists in maintaining machine inventory on the website, ensuring only current photos of equipment are displayed 
•    Organizes and inventories the yard to maintain a safe working environment for customers and employees 
•    Assists rental coordinators and sales staff in locating equipment within the yard 
•    Maintains equipment in rent-ready condition: neat, clean, fueled, and properly tagged 
•    Performs minor repairs and maintenance on yard equipment, such as fixing missing pins, leaking couplers, and small parts 
•    Services re-rent equipment as needed 
•    Ensures all equipment and cab areas are clean prior to transport or rental 
•    Stencils ID numbers on all attachments and equipment 
•    Performs general yard upkeep and maintenance, including snow removal and weeding.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
(REQUIRED/PREFERRED)
•    High school diploma or equivalent 
•    At least one year of industry-related experience 
•    Trailer hauling experience preferred 
•    Basic knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety regulations 
•    Familiarity with DBS and IRS systems preferred 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office 
•    Strong communication, organization, and time management skills 
•    Ability to meet company driving standards and use proper lifting techniques 
•    Skilled in operating forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts 
•    Capable of performing basic equipment repairs 
•    Customer-focused with a professional and team-oriented approach 
•    Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
