Position Overview

RION Equipment is seeking a Field Technician to provide expert service and repair for customer forklift and material handling equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems in the field, and taking ownership of their day.
 
In this role, you’ll operate with a high level of autonomy, traveling directly to customer locations in a company-provided service truck and serving as a trusted technical expert. We provide a structured daily schedule to set you up for success, while giving you the independence in the field to manage your time, solve problems, and keep work moving efficiently

Primary Job Duties
•    Remove, install, repair, disassemble, assemble, and perform failure analysis on forklift and material handling equipment
•    Diagnose and repair engines, attachments, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, powertrain components, brakes, steering systems, and electronic/computer-controlled applications
•    Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair most types and brands of lifts
•    Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
•    Perform preventative maintenance accurately and in a timely manner
•    Work in a variety of customer locations and industry environments
•    Deliver high-quality service while building strong customer relationships in the field
